BIOTEC has introduced on the market several yeasts deriving from Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, both cerevisiae and bajanus, which have the characteristic of obtaining the results requested by the producers, namely: a greater concentration of varietal characteristics of the wine and consequently a softening of sensory characters.

We are supporters of Saccharomyces, both for its ability to grow at low temperatures, and for its good resistance to alcohol (12% Vol.), And because other strains that today are proposed as alternative to the traditional Saccharomyces, notthey are supported by adequate scientific and empirical literature, or even more are genetically modified strains.
