Green THE

Oenological Tannin
1. Composition
High molecular weight condensed tannin, manufactured from tea leaf
2.    General features
100% soluble in cold water and no rehydrating before.
GREEN THE is extracted from green tea leaf. It is a very sweet tannin, which enhances the fresh and fruity aromas of both white and red wines. It's reccomanded for each stage of aging and pre-bottling. Extracted with a solution of warm water and purified ethanol, from fresh raw material. Composed by low molecular weight proanthocyanidin, polyphenols esterified with gallic acid. A compound that characterizes it is the EGCG, or the epigallocatechingallate, highly antioxidant substance (it contains about 70%).
3.    Application
GREEN THE combines capabilities of the pranthocyanidinic tannins (antioxidant, clarifying and complexing action) with that of the Gallic tannins, thus offering a wide possibility of use (fermentation, refinement, micro oxygenation). Added to white wines prevents browning, if added in pre-bottling enhances scents fruity and floral, improves wine taste and structure. The addition in the various stages of processing of red and rosé wines, stabilizes the color.
4.    Dosage and Instructions for use
